open command prompt as administrator, right click, run as
admin

and type

assoc .exe=exefile
assoc .lnk=lnkfile

then close command prompt.
all your exe files will be restored to the origional state as well
as lnk files.

Hello, i've been having this problem for days now.

I downloaded lnk_fix but get:
cannot import C:users\juan\desktop\lnk_fix_w7.reg: not all data was syuccesfully written to the registry. some keys are open by the system or other processes.

also tried:
assoc .exe=exefile
assoc .lnk=lnkfile

but it tells me that it can't acces .exe or .lnk

What to do?
