I have Windows 7 Build 7100 and I'm having an issue connecting to the internet. While I can connect, most of the time it tells me i have no internet access. On top of this, when it does connect, my latency is generally sky high, comapred to my usual 100 ish. Any ideas? See event logs. See taskman and performance monitor. See hardware on the nic (that would have helped us more) Could you have issues with router not releasing the prior booted ip address? hey man... sorry for bad english =P try this. go to start >run and write services.msc -> OK in services search for "web client" or "dns client" and start if stoped. see if manual start too! change to automatic! okay? :D
