Overall i am happy with windows 7 as i have the 64 bit version of windows 7 pro on , I want to Add more memmory. SO for the last few days since i installed it (which on the installation it froze when i put 6GB in took the additional 4GB OUT it installed fine leaving it with 2GB) i have been testing it so to speak with the basic memmory on i had in originally 2GB then ran that for a a day or 2 ok gradually installing all my original programs no problems then i decide trying it with another 2GB all is ok runs fine run for a day or 2 no problem I go to add my final stick of 2GB to give me 6GB and it freezes at the start up screen in in general freaks out i know its early days what would anyone sudgest. am i running 7 ampley and then some with 4GB ? the ram i am attempting to use is the OCZ GOLD PC 2 6400 in have one stick in atm would like to add the other ,my memmory slots support dual channel

Put 6 gig in and run memtest a few days. If fails then look to bios settings or return memory for compatible set.
