Open Control Panel and click Display.
In Display at the left pane, you can choose Userdefined Font Size.
Here you can choose the font size in percent.

Press control key and hold then press the plus key.

Have you tried a different screen resolution or dpi setting?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

You say "AS FAR AS I KNOW" I have tried...... but have you tried the particular ones I mentioned:

Screen Resolution.
Dots per inch.

Both of these increase the overall size of everything and the settings would stay set even after reboot. You would have to restore any other adjustments you have made back to default first obviously.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Have you tried "Ease of Access" setting (go through Control Panel) as well as Derek's suggestions.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

My Computer: HP Pavilion p6-2026 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
My Problem: High Resolution caused web pages to display too small and computer program fonts, etc. to display too small also. I tried the whole control panel personalization resolution re-size, font re-size, dpi re-do, and individual browser magnification 165-172%+... these were not the answer. I wanted web pages and computer programs to display like that had on 100% when I was using Vista on my older computer.
My Solution:
1.) First, change back everything (to default settings, etc.) you did to make everything bigger on your computer and also on your browsers.
2.) Next, right click anywhere on your desktop that is blank and drop down to the Graphics Properties... choice and left click...
3.) An Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel is displayed:
drop down and highlight the dot choice next to Wizard Mode and click OK
4.) Here is the desired operating mode - single display - Press Next
5.) Primary Display Lists Your Monitor's Model Number - click Next
a window comes up and asks you, the new settings have been applied, do you want to keep these settings? Click Yes
6.) Choose the display settings for the selected display on the right it shows refresh rate at 60 HZ do not change this... But, on the left side of this window is shown Resolution Settings. Here, I switched down from 1680 X 1050 (recommended) to 1024 X 768 (NOTE: When I did this through the control panel, it did not work) and then click Next... a window comes up and asks you if this is the way you intended things to look? Click Yes and you're done. This solved my problem and I hope it helps you too.
