I just upgraded my system from windows xp home to Windows 7 ultimate, I love the system so far but i noticed when i was trying to play games that i usually play like online mmorpg's it's telling me that my directx isnt up to date now i dont know if im right but directx 11 is the highest it can go right? and ive tried to dxdiag and enabling the hardware acceleration but i dont even have the option to, i figured my video card drivers didnt install even tho windows 7 knows what the card is i dont know what to do to update the driver ive googled for days hours and still nothing any advice will help thank you

You card is pretty low-end by any standard & not officially supported by Windows 7 ... deservedly so.
For your info, it's a DX7 generation GPU & the DX11 speculation is irrelevant, since you can't take advantage of it anyway & you won't be doing any serious gaming on the system with the card. I would suggest upgrading the card personally or downgrade your OS; running a card that old & crappy on a machine running Windows 7 defeats the purpose of the OS upgrade IMHO.

If you wan't to play in games which used new DX11, you must have a new video card (ATI 5XXX cards reasonable fot today). Unfortunately Windows 7 is not enough to using DX11 in new games.
