Windows 7 all of a sudden wants username/password to log on, but none were ever created. Power went out and when rebooted the username/password fields were on the screen.
You know your user name. If no password was configured just hit enter on a blank field. Stuart
Try Safe Mode, if it will let you into safe mode, do a system restore to before the problem began.
If it will not, you can run a System Restore from a Windows 7 Repair Disk and access your restore points on your hard drive. System Restore will repair system files and return the preferences and registry to the way they were.You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
