We recently came across an interesting glitch with win 7. Apparently if your useing an hdmi connection for your monitor win 7 may fail to install. Don't know what chipsets or mbs this effects but hope ms fixes it. The work around is sorta simple. Connect your monitor with a vga connector and install win 7. Once win 7 is up and running just connect your hdmi cable while windows is running and the drivers should install. Hope this helps. Btw. Credit for finding this goes to the folks on technet.
