'My computer is picking up the wifi connection but Windows 7 is saying there is none.'

What computer is picking up the wi-fi?
Is it a 2nd PC that can't pick up a signal? Your post is real confusing.

I have 2 settings on my Asus laptop; one with Windows 7 and one with a Asus preinstalled system in order to get on to there product web system. I can get on the internet from there but my Windows setting is not identifing any connection to the internet. It was working fine and then I shutdown the unit and it will not recognize the wifi signal on Windows. Sorry was not clear enough before.
