I am using window 7. sometime when i shut down my computer, it automaticaly update something & the screen show " do not plug off before it shut down.......update 1 of 13. " it looks like updating something.i need to know when it will update? cause it take times & sometimes i need to rush & go? every time need to wait it update finish only can go.

Windows Update has a few possible settings and the one you are using (default) is recommended for most users. It downloads updates and installs them when you shut down. Like THX says, just walk away, it will complete and then shut down by itself. You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
i know i can walk away, but i need to take off the plug that why i need to know when it will update so that i will shut down early. actually this is my office computer.
