if i move the laptop, especially the lid all goes white screen....have to put lid down and backup and log in again
When you move something and it makes a sudden change it is a hardware fault somewhere in the vicinity of where that movement takes place. As it is the lid you are moving then suspect the cable which connects the screen to the computer (most likely), its connections or a screen fault.

I don't know, but I would expect that any computer shop should
be able to replace the cable in most laptops in a few minutes.
