We-Care.com reminder pop up - what is it - can I get rid of it? Its annoying and seems to pop up when I do maintenance or look for a file on my PC. It refers me to we-care.com - it does not "send" me there as the heading says. It seems to be malware since it wants to keep the person involved with we-care.com which I believe is a charity - or is marketed as one...
The "we care reminder create process," i.e. we-care.com pop-up is from the ASPCA and can be removed in the add/remove programs aka Programs and Features in win 7 section of Control Panel. The ASPCA folder is in the usually hidden ProgramData folder. You'll probably want to go in and delete the ASPCA folder with the bitmap that is left behind when you remove the program.
