I was wondering if someone could really tell me their thoughts on Windows 7 and what are the pro's and con's to upgrading. Im strongly thinking about it but figured to come to the experts 1st?!

Another homework - based on the various posts you posted in our Networking Forum. You can get the information by googling.

What do you mean by upgrading? Converting an existing OS to Win7 by using the upgrade disc? Or wiping out an existing OS & replacing it with Win7 using the retail disc?

Most would recommend a clean installation on a freshly formated HDD. If you need to know why this method is preferred, google it or search the forums. This topic has been covered extensively in just about all the OS forums.

having done upgrades from vista x86 and x64 as well clean installs, i would say that it doesnt matter which path you take, and i am a great fan of win 7, i recommend it to everyone i know..so i say just do it, the pro's are a better system, compatible with lots of older equipment, good driver compatibility, great to use, clean and easy, the only con is the price, but there are offers, like the current home premium 150 bucks for 3 pc's..

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
