|I am sorry, I should have listed the things I have tried so far.|
1. Uninstalled everything Itunes related and reinstalled iTunes- several times but no joy.
2. Turned off Norton anti virus and Windows Firewall and tried again.
3. Followed directions on iTunes Support pages which said to empty temp directory and install latest version of iTunes.
4. Checked that have latest Windows updates
Only thing I have not done is to delete msconfig as suggested on the itunes help page. Don't feel competent to delete windows reg. files. (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3125)
Oh I also downloaded Reimage to see if it could find a problem with dll file but i couldn't even get that software to run.
