Typing into a box on a website it goes into the browse bar

Specs: Windows 7

When I type into a box on a website (sometimes), the typing goes into the browser bar where the web address is. This happens on known reliable sites. Running Windows 7 on an HP All-in-one with touchscreen.

Could be a touch screen issue, have you tried installing the latest Wacom drivers from HP's site for the touchscreen?

What is the model number of your HP all-in-one?

It is a touchsmart 520. I am not familiar with Wacom drivers. My son-in laws notebook does the same thing and we do not have anything in common between the two machines, not even email.

Wacom is the touchscreen technology that HP uses for touchscreens.
go here - http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-dr... and enter the model of your HP. Look for the Display/Monitor driver. It will have the multi touch driver for the display. Try installing that and see if it resolves your issue.
