trying to connect printer to linksys router MRT54G

Specs: Windows 7

Have a canon wireless printer Pixma MG5320 when setting up it says to hold down the WPS button for 5 seconds on my Linksys wireless router Model MRT54G. (NO BUTTON) . do I need to download something ? I have windows 7 / 64-bit.

I do not have any knowledge about your router but you may have to enable WPS in router by putting a checkmark besides Enable WPS first in router's software. For this go into your router by typing its web address, usually http://192.168.1.1, and then browse wireless setup section. Then you may have to press a button on the router to activate WPS. After that, you may have to press a button on your printer within two minutes or something.

In most cases, WPS may create a security risk. You should not use it. Just enter the passphrase of your wireless security into the printer setup screen. That is better.
