Taskbar on on top. Missing Toolbar File, edit,View, tools, help.all missing
I assume you mean IE8. Right click on an empty spot on the taskbar and then click on menu bar. That should allow it to show. You can also customize the taskbar using the
customize button.Same procedure works for Mozilla FF3.

read response #1 and follow it carefullySome HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
Response 1 doesn't work onmy computer. Just bought a windows 7 computer and I think Toshiba must have customized IE 8 as it had AOL for a home page and not MSN. Anyway, I have the same problem as the person who can't find a way to restore the main menu bar with files, Edit, View etc. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
Daniel
My apologies to the person who gve the first reply. Right clicking on a blank space on the toolbar area will restore the main menu bar. I clicked on the title bar first and couldn't bring it up, so that was my mistake. Many thanks
Dan
Glad you got it fixed. Thanks for getting back to us.
