Hi everyone. My setup is rather old, but it works, and Windows 7 just runs beautifully. So far, the only issue I've had with 7 is one that I also had with Vista. Looks like my motherboard is old to the point that I cannot find the correct sound drivers for it.

Sound does work fine, but the sound controls behave strangely. If I click the sound icon and try to control or to mute the sound from there, nothing happens the sound, it just stays with the same volume. That translates into the fact that I cannot control the volume with my keyboard. Device manager says that Audio device is intel 82801BA/BAM AC'97.

Any ideas? I

It would be nice to include your motherboard details.
