Does anyone know where I can find a cheap sound card that will work with Windows 7.
Not sure I want to spend a lot on something that I might not use very long.
Thanks

Which sound card do you have now & why can't you make it work? Did you install the sound drivers? Try the Vista compatible drivers.

If you are here in the US, Newegg is where I'd recommend for PC related purchases.

And why are you likely to not use the card very long - huh?

Because I am not sure if I want to keep using Windows 7. I may revert back to my XP.

I am using the Creative Sound Blaster Platium 5.1. Windows says it can not find a sound card. Yes I have tried several drivers and none seem to work. Have not tried Vista drivers but will look into that.

Ok, I have it working. This is what I did. I have two computers, one XP and the other Win 7. On the xp I have a router and win 7 the net card. The router was NOT hooked up at the time. So I wanted to get on the net with win 7 to search for a sound driver and hooked the router up. I then went to device manager and let it scan for a driver and it found one here: http://www.downloadatoz.com/driver/...
The file is:
Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM)
