Does anyone know where I can find a cheap sound card that will work with Windows 7. Not sure I want to spend a lot on something that I might not use very long. Thanks

Which sound card do you have now & why can't you make it work? Did you install the sound drivers? Try the Vista compatible drivers.

Windows says it can not find a sound card. Yes I have tried several drivers and none seem to work. Have not tried Vista drivers but will look into that.

Ok, I have it working. This is what I did. I have two computers, one XP and the other Win 7. On the xp I have a router and win 7 the net card. The router was NOT hooked up at the time. So I wanted to get on the net with win 7 to search for a sound driver and hooked the router up. I then went to device manager and let it scan for a driver and it found one here: http://www.downloadatoz.com/driver/... The file is: Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM)
