SMART failure predicted on laptop HDD

Specs: Windows 7, INTEL CORE

when i turn on my laptop an error message appear and it says,

"SMART FAILURE PREDICTED ON HARD DISK"
WARNING: IMMIDIATELY BACK UP YOUR DATA AND REPLACE HARD DISK. A FAILURE MAY BE INNIMENT. PRESS F1 TO CONTINUE."

when i press F1 there still another error appeared on my screen and it says,

"BOOT FAILURE PROBLEM OCCURED. PRESS CTRL+ALT+DEL"

still there problem appeared on my screen.

pls. tell me on how to troubleshoot this error.

the smart utility is telling you that you disk is failing...you can run a disk check and click the auto fix and attempt to fix sectors, it might help,however if it doesnt help:
the best thing you can do is save all your files, and buy a new disk and hope that you can do a good copy from your drive,before it dies totally.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

Download a copy of Ubuntu Linux (or any Linux distribution which has a 'live cd' function) and get an external USB drive big enough to back up your data to.

Boot from the Ubuntu disk and choose the option to run it from the CD.

When up & running you should have access to your files - copy them immediately to the external drive.

When finished, shut down, replace the harddrive, reinstall Windows & restore your data.

There's no point in trying to recover the harddrive any further as it will fail completely sooner rather than later, and the longer you leave it, the less chance you have of recovering your data.
