What do you mean by "slow"? Is the playback choppy? You've been helped by a 15 year old.
Yes, the playback is choppy on netflix, youtube, etc.

If you connect wired to the router are the results different? Answers are only as good as the information you provide.
How to properly post a question:

It's better, but only sometimes. Will update flash. Sometimes the entire youtube page comes up with black video windows, even the little videos to the side.
Make sure your video drivers are the latest. If that doesn't work, try turning off hardware acceleration in the video apps you use.
You wouldn't be sharing this LAN with anybody else would you? If you are, and somebody else within your LAN is doing some heavy downloading that'll mess up your streaming worse than anything else.
If you aren't sharing but are running say a p-to-p file sharing program, shut it down and try your streaming again and see if that doesn't fix your issues.

I won't be able to try anything until Thursday, will let you know and thanks for the ideas!
Yeah, I would test my connection. If the playback is choppy, its probably are RAM issue. So you should cutdown on the background programs. Also make sure you dont have any programs constantly access the internet like a anti spyware program. I would also try to use a different browser or cutdown on the toolbars and addons to eliminate conflict.

Also reduce your browser's add-ons may work
