Are there any exclamation points next to any devices in Device Manager ? It looks like your problem may be related to a network card.

Can you browse the internet when you are at the PC ?

If the network card drivers were installed by Windows 7 during Win 7 installation, you can try the Vista drivers for your network card.

Are you behind a Router? I don't know enough about Internet Protocols to be sure about this but I suspect your issue has something to do with IPv6 & IPv4. I THINK IPv4 is still in wide use and your logs indicate your network adaapter is trying to establish a IPv6 connection. IPv6 will eventually replace IPv4 because IPv4 is soon to run out of possible addresses.

I may be totally off with this reasoning. Drivers are most likely the cause. Hardware manufacturers are expected to provide tested and approved Windows 7 drivers for their hardware. If they don't the hardware may not work or MSoft may provide a generic driver which may provide partial use.

Because Widnows 7 in still in Beta I am guesing this driver process is still in flux.

As stated in #3, since Windows 7 is in Beta, you may have to try different options to get certain drivers to work. I had trouble getting drivers for the onboard LAN to work with an EVGA motherboard. I installed a PCI NIC and finally got the XP drivers to work, not the Vista drivers.
