cannot change administrator password on zoo storm - windows 7.
What happens when you try. Do you have the original password?
You can reset admin password by safe mode, just do as the following steps, Step1: You should restart your computer, and keep pressing F8/F2 to enter the Safe mode.
Step2: After enter the safe mode, you can see the default administrator account, just click it to enter the system.
Step3: Open User Account in control panel, pick the account you have forgotten the password to change the password.

It is my daughters netbook and I foolishly set a Start Up password which I cannot remember, my daughter can still use her account but cant download updates etc as it requires the start up password.
I have tried downloading several reset / unlock admin password programs on my laptop, transferring them via USB and an external hardrive but it only uses floppy discs, as the netbook doesnt have a cd drive, none have worked.
I cant reset to factory settings as this also asks for the start up password.
Your help is very much appreciated.
I have tried the F8, safe mode but it still asks for the start up password and to reset requires USB flashdrive which I have tried using downloaded unlock / admin passwords but still no luck.

Evie, unfortunately this website does not help in cracking passwords. People just DO NOT forget passwords on laptops...we have no idea whether you own it or not...try contacting the netbook tech support and be ready to prove ownership of the netbook.
