Rename longitud files name for shorthly name
You need to provide more detail regarding what and why you need to do this. There is no DOS in Windows 7. You can highlight the file name, right click, select "Rename" and use a shortened file name from within Windows.
I assume you mean in Command Prompt (emulated DOS). Sorry but your question is not at all clear. You need to explain exactly what it is you are trying to do. Is this a homework question?
