You want Device Manager, click the Windows Orb (Start), type devmgmt.msc and press Enter and look for yellow markers.

No. Nothing wrong with Dells site but I use driver packs.

I know my personal information above says Dell. I have 5 dells in the house.. 2 compaqs 2 IBMs and 1generic.

The pc that 7 is on is an IBM. It refused to play a dvd saying the video driver need to be updated.

Not yet to familiar with 7

Did as BurrWalnut advised....loaded driver pack...let it do its thing...
All is well.

Driver packs auto load...search for missing drivers and automatically install them from its own cd.......pretty much a no brainer and and saves from having to search all over the Internet...

Hope to get more familiar with 7 as the I think I will be loading more computers with it in the future.

Thank you all,

W.L.

I'm pretty much used to hunting down drivers from using legacy Windows OSes. With that said, I haven't really had to do that in Windows 7. All my devices (including the usual peripherals) used with the machine were detected & configured during Windows setup.

Nice to know you got it sorted out.
