I have used a PS/2 keyboard to access the Windows Resume Loader and this allowed "delete restoration data and proceed to systems boot menu". This worked but now I cannot uninstall or disable the PS/2 keyboard or it's driver. Have tried Device Manager-uninstall and on restart the PS/2 driver is automatically reloaded. Have tried Device Manager - Disable but was not given access to Disable because the driver had a "signature. I am operating Windows 7 Home Premium on a Lenovo Idea Pad Z575.

Just for info, what you said about Uninstall in Device Manager is quite normal. It is not an Uninstall in the usual sense of the word, it just temporarily removes the software to be put back together on reboot. It can sometimes fix issues in devices that you show errors and you wish to continue to use. If it appears in "Programs and Features" then it will uninstall properly.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
If the motherboard has a PS/2 port then there are no special drivers needed for a PS/2 keyboard. The exception is if the keyboard has some special features. Why do you feel the need to un-install that keyboard?
