I'm running Windows 7, and I need to rip some blu ray movies to MKV or other common formats so that I can play them on my computer. I have download a free Blu ray ripper but the video file is cant be opened after converting. I also tried some other converting program also coming like that only. Help, please?
You probably don't have the proper codecs installed to view them. Go to www.videolan.org and get VLC Player. It will play MKV files.
To be able to rip a BR disc, don't you need a BR player? And if you have a BR player, why would you need to convert?
It doesn't need a blu ay player to do it, what he need is a a ripping program, like this: http://www.bdconverter.com/blu-ray-...
I wonder which program he use, maybe his blu ray are protected? Some blu ray ripper dosen't work for protected type.
