Print Shop Deluxe 6.0 and Windows 7

September 27, 2010 at 10:05:59
Specs: Windows 7

Is there any way in the world I can get Windows 7 to accept Print Shop Deluxe 6.0? Print shop 6.0 is the best and easiet program I have come across. Had to buy a new computer and of course Windows 7 won't accept it. (64 bit) I had Windows XP and it worked just fine. Would appreciate any help.

Right click the file>Properties>Tab Compatibility (Or whatever its called)>Check the checkbox>Select Windows XP SP3.Apply and try
NOTE: If you cannot check the Checkbox , click the Button at the bottom of the page
(NOT Ok or Cancel or Apply). In that Window that opens Check the Checkbox and select Windows XP SP3.Apply and try

you have to right click, run as administrator and then use the compatitbility mode.
It will work. I use many of my XP programs on windows 7

I am trying to post messages but when I fill in password, etc., this area is not showing and when I do get back to it, it says I have to sign in. *(even though I am already signed in)

"Still have no idea how to go in to "properties" or where it is"
This is a little more detailed. If you go to the program icon (not shortcut on desktop, but the actual program icon), you use the right mouse button to click on it. A short menu will open up and is you look down the list you will see 'Properties' at or near the bottom of the list. When the Properties box opens up you look at the top for the tabs, one of them on the right will say 'Compatibility', select that one. From there you will select to compatible with Windows XP SP3 as it says above and 'Apply'.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
This site is about helping people, lets keep it that way.
