Hi recentley went from windows xp to windows 7 but my sound has gone

Windows 7 is a fresh install therefore you need to install Windows 7 drivers, did you undertake compatibility check prior to this change of O/S

By the way you appear to have posted no specifications of your hardware and my crystal ball as at the repair shop !

use the drivers from the site of the machine manufacturer, if they do not make win 7 drivers you should be able to use vista drivers

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
