Clicking on image, icon or command button in order to link to website in Internet Explorer 9 produces no response. Clicking on other links work OK. Internet Settings Normal. Same behavior with Scripting and Java applets scripting allowed. Running Norton Internet Security 2010.
Another symptom is right-click to get quick menu on link, selecting Open in New Tab, and getting blank page.
Not the solution I was looking for. Have switched temporarily to Google Chrome with the IE extension. Thanks for the idea.

If Chrome is working, you now know it is probably in your IE9 security settings.
