My desktop computer has issues typing in what I want. I have bought a new keyboard and I still have the same issues. If i press the "2" button, it will type in three different charactres. Any diagnoses that could be possible?

Go to Start > Control Panel > Regional & Language Options.

Under the Regional Options tab, set the Location to your country.

Under the Languages tab, click the Details button and set the Default Input Language to your country. In the Installed Services area it should have your country listed in bold type, meaning it's selected. For example, mine has United Kingdom in bold and US in normal type.
