Solved How Do I Boot My HP Compaq 510 Notebook With Windows 7?

while trying to boot from CD ROM, instead of start booting, the computer starts itself and the windows screen is displayed. since my current windows is showing some problems thus i want to try booting a new windows. HELP ME.

      Apparently that laptop originally came with XP or Vista. Before trying a windows 7 install you need to make sure you can get windows 7 drivers. You may want to increase the ram too.
