Possible to get an MS DOS prompt on Win 7 - and to run a Dos simulated word processing program - Xywrite?
Maybe. Try to find cmd in search bar. You may be able to run older ms-dos programs under a 32 bit windows 7 but I think you will have to do some stuff for a 16 bit application in a 64 bit install.
Choices are virtual pc and some dos version or xp mode if you have the high end OS.
There are other virtual machines and also virtual box that may help.
