Solved Java Control Panel Will Not Open

  • 0

Hi,
I am having a very head-aching situation and I don’t know what to do. Hope someone here can give me a solution for my problem.
I am using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and the default jre is 1.6.0_20 and I install lower version jdk1.6.0_19 for 64 bit and jdk1.6.0_17 for 32 bit environment. I also install Netbeans with jdk-6u20 and at first it was ok. Later on, I can’t open Netbeans. When I try to open Java Control Panel, I can’t open.

I have been looking for a solution and still cannot find. I have uninstalled all Java, Netbeans and install again with Local Administrator account. When I open Netbeans with Administrator account, it’s ok, but when I login with domain user account, I cannot open. Please help me.

Your advise is much appreciated.

  1. If the above solution is not working, simply look for the “.accessibility.properties” in your user profile (“C:\Users\username”) and remove the file.
