In external USB Hard-disk folders not visible

January 20, 2011 at 03:28:15
Specs: Windows 7, Corei5/4Gb Ram

I have 500 GB external hard disk of Seagate brand, I have classified all my stuff into 4 main folders but only about 1 of them is visible in explorer or the cmd prompt. They are not set as system or hidden files and I can get to them by typing in the path in the address bar.
I tried the chkdsk /f command but its not working due to NTFS

Anyone got any ideas as to how to get them back?

if you can type the path and get to them, create 3 new folders, and copy the contents from the hidden folders into them

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
