We just got a new computer at work with windows 7 but when I hook it to the all in one hp 5610xi it will print stuff but will not scan. I am using hp solution center to scan and hp diagnostic utility 2.1 to check out problems. It says to restart the computer and the device, which never works. Everything checks out until it gets to the hp twain scan and it can't scan. It is driving me nuts. Any body have insight into this? I would love to be able to scan again.
You need to upgarde to HP Solution Center version 13 or higher

Ok I'm giving it a shot!
Ok I installed that software, I think it was the same software that was on it all ready, any way I plugged it in when it said to and it didn't recognize it so I had to choose the keep installing without the device plugged in yet option. Thanks for your help. maybe I'll discover another way to make it work.
