i have bose speakers for my laptop an would like more bass
ON a laptop, not likely. Sound hardware on a laptop is basic to say the least. Very few laptops have high quality sound hardware let alone the power to drive a bass speaker. Stuart
Theoretically, you must be able to increase bass in your notebook. The bass sound may not be to your liking, though, as StuartS pointed out above. Use your notebook's control panel sound applet for your sound application. I believe you can choose and adjust every parameter from environment ( living room, concert hall, etc. ) to frequency to music type ( pop, jazz, rock, etc. ), etc.

thank you so much ,now i wont waste time on trying to get it thanks again ....
Before you give up you need to clarify if the BOSE speakers you mention are external speakers you are connecting or the built-in speakers. If they are external are they powered by house current?
