everytime i start my computer,it says "cmos settings wrong, cmos time and date settings wrong".and also i'm not being able to change my time and date settings on the task bar.i had changed my cmos battery about 2-3 months back.
When you changed the CMOS battery did you then go into the BIOS (setup) and reset the date and time? There are other values in there that you may want to reset. Boot order and Legacy USB support come to mind.
Thnx for the reply.m new to computers.i changed the date and time settings on the cmos set up,but it gets back to its default values after i restart my pc.bt ocassionally my pc boots up normally without the cmos error.but again the time and date settings on my computer gets back to its default.plz help......
