I've installed a few programs on my machine running W7Pro and now I'd like to change the program menu. I'd like to make some new program groups and move some of the shortcuts to those groups.

In WXP this was easy - just right click and select 'explore'. Can't do that in W7. Can anyone tell me how to do this in W7? Thanks.

The All Programs menu entries are stored in two locations, one for all users and one for the logged on user. Go to the two folders and add/amend as required:

Open the first location by clicking the Windows Orb (Start), type Shell:Common Programs and press Enter, then press Enter when the command appears in the list. Now repeat the command using Shell:Programs.

You can ‘dock’ both windows using Windows key+Left arrow and Windows key+Right arrow, or drag them left and right.
