Hard Drive not recognised in Windows 7

I have plugged in my Samsung HD753LJ 750 GB HD into my new Windows 7 PC and I can't see it in my computer. The BIOS sees the drive and the device manager also sees the drive but I can't access it. It was previously plugged into my XP machine and working perfectly. I am happy to format the drive but I can't see it. Thanks
