Hi i installed windows 7 RC and i want to restore
my lap top to factory settings, i don't have the
windows vista cd and i lost my recovery disks,
my hard drive is partitioned but i don't know how
to access the recovery part.

Check your system manufacturer's website, you should be able to find applicable recovery instructions for your machine on their website.
