Hello, I am having problems with my operating system, basically Explorer stops responding repeatedly. For example, it has faulted 19 times within the last 24 hours, and 240 within the last 7 days. I have checked the Event Viewer and the two main contenders within the errors section are "mmc.exe" and also "explorer.exe" itself. The problem seems to occur when I either browse different folders or shut down a folder/program. I have run out of ideas upon this matter and hope someone can help me with it.
Thanks in advance,

ShellExView can be useful to see which shell extensions have been introduced into Explorer by third party applications. Read about it then scroll down to the bottom to download the x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version here http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexvi...
Once you’ve unzipped it, go to the unzipped folder and double-click shexview.exe to run the program. Now click on the column labelled Company to alphabetically sequence the entries. Assuming that the Microsoft entries are bona fide, is there anything else listed that is either unnecessary or suspicious? If so, highlight it and click the red spot (top left) to disable it. If you accidentally disable an item, it is reversible by clicking the green spot.
