download Acer eRecovery.exe needed to bring back to factory

Specs: Windows 7
i have an acer aspire z5700 i5 touch pc i upgraded from w7 home premium to w7 ultimate and have lost my camera and all of my touch facilitys tried to get inti factory settings but it doesnt show in system restore a part to return to factory settings please help.tried acer got as far as putting in my serial for my computer but it keeps telling me it doesnt recinise either that or my snid so unable to get discs from acer.

Instead of going backward go to the Acer site and download the drivers and firmware for the non-functioning devices.

The drivers for home-premium should be 100% compatible with ultimate as they are both effectivley the same OS.

Although unlikely, have you changed the OS architecutre (32 bit) to (64 bit). This would cause problems as most drivers are quite specific.

To find out what architecutre your computer is using, right click my computer and select properties. Beside "System type:" it should either say 32 bit operating system or 64 bit operating system.

Nearlly all manufacturers are creating 32-bit drivers, and since your computer is quite new (i5), there is a good chance that there are 64-bit drivers.

My advice would be to download the home-premium drivers, and make sure that you download the correct drivers for your architecture.

hi i have checked proprties and i have a 32bit ultimate system installed do you think if i put a 64bit home premium that would solve my problem and bring my system back to new with touch pad thanks.

why did you upgrade to ultimate? Your best bet is to CALL Acer tech support and explain your problem to them.
