Will Windows7 Professional support creating an image of a drive or CD? Could not find it in the features list. TIA

Hello,
After some googling, I could not find that feature. It supports burning iso's natively, but as far as creating an iso I have not found anything. There are several free programs you could try.

Just got from a seminar on Win 7/Server 2008 R2. Windows 7 adds the ability to natively burn iso images to CD/DVD. It does not allow for the imaging of physical disks, mounting of iso images to virtual drives, or anything else "advanced." Of course, as pointed out above, there are a ton of programs that will do what you need.

the backup software creates a complete image of your system, or individual dives, if thats any help, but you will need extra software to create and image of a cd/dvd, "power iso" is my favourite
