Comment:

I installed Windows 7 a few days ago, and my Audigy 2 seems to have lost its touch. It sounds quite plain now, as the Win7 driver doesn't allow me to fine-tune the audio. Actually, the Audigy sounds exactly like the onboard audio, which definitely wasn't the case with WinXP. Should I take it out, use the onboard, and save a PCI slot? Is the Audigy still "accelerating" my audio, despite not sounding as good?

The Audigy 2 is a pretty crappy card for a Windows 7 machine.
