all the pgms which i installed in my pc has chaned to vlc player format now if i tried to open mozila browser means it opening as vlc
It seems the problem is with icon cache... Try the TweakUI to rebuild the icon cache

You are in the Windows 7 forum yet you say you have XP. If all your programs are opening VLC, then this is NOT an icon cache issue.
