Ok I have Windows 7 on this computer... I try to share the internet over an Ad-Hoc to my Ipod Touch and it won't share... How ever i can share the internet by bridging the connections, but the problem is it only shares it for a little bit, Then goes off. I have been able to get it to share after bridging the connection 2 times in a row then recreating an Ad-Hoc, But this is time consuming and not really worth it, And it won't save when i power the computer down/Restart, Internet connection sharing works fine on my other Windows 7 computer. I have LogMeIn Hamachi installed, But i have the adapter disabled(It seems to enable itself after startup) Could hamachi Be causing the problem, Even if it is disabled? So to sum it up:
Why is bridged networking only sharing internet for a limited amount of time
Why Won't Internet Connection Sharing work unless i bridge 2 timesI have Windows 7 Ultimate, And my ipod touch is set to auto config an IP when working with a network bridge.
ok, got it to work if i plug in the adapter and disable ICS then re-enable it... it will work... i was wondering if i can make it to where i dont have to do this... also... XP has no problems with ad-hoc.... i plug in the adapter and press connect on my ipod and it goes... why doesnt Windows 7 have this feature?
