My Sons compaq presario computer starts automatically in safe mode, no matter what I try it wont start in normal mode. I have tried rebooting over and over have reset bios to make sure it was in default. I had burnt a recovery disk for his computer when we got it but have tried using these and found out the first disk doent work!
Run msconfig and just uncheck before safe mode under the boot tab and save/OK You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
