i have 2GB pen drive when i insert in to pc. it shows on mycomputer but when i open it a dialogb box comes with message "please insert disk into drive g:"

also i cand format same dialogbox appears

Your pen drive -- if it's write-enabled -- might be defective. Have you tried it on another machine?

Sounds like it is mounting to a drive that already exists. Do you already have a G: and is it the CD-ROM.

I had the same thing happen to me..

Has the drive U3 enabled?

Does AUTOPLAY come up when you insert the drive?

This is what I did: Run U3 Launchpad: Then I can open my drive ..
