Explain why you are trying to flash BIOS. Flashing a BIOS is a hazardous undertaking even for those who know how and have experience. It should only be done at great need where it is well documented that that particular update will solve your particular problem. You MUST have the battery fully charged and you MUST have the AC power cord plugged in on a laptop (what you have listed). You MUST use the correct BIOS update for your computer, NOT just a similar one or one you THINK is better. A bad flash or if you choose incorrectly could leave you with a useless machine that cannot be repaired short of replacing the motherboard.

You show Windows 7 but you also show 512MB memory; Windows 7 32bit requires a minimum of 1GB of memory BUT really needs 2GB to run well.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

I assume you are trying to flash the BIOS? - if yes, telling us that's what you are trying to do would have been helpful.

It's the type of boot disc you are using (Hiren's Boot CD). It's loading the himem.sys & EMM386.exe DOS memory manager files into memory. These are loaded into memory via two startup files, AUTOEXEC.BAT & CONFIG.SYS

You need to use different boot media which doesn't load the memory manager files.
The "Driver Free Disk For BIOS Flashing" from bootdisk.com is what you need:
http://www.bootdisk.com/

Click the "About" link next to that item, it will explain what to do if your PC has no floppy drive.

The Lenovo BIOS should be flashed from within Windows. All you need to do is read & follow the instructions.

And why are you running Win7 with so little RAM? 512MB doesn't even meet the minimum requirement.
