Asus windows 7 updates and recovery

Specs: Windows 7, 1.6 GHz / 4020 MB

i have an asus with windows 7 home want to upgrade to windows 7 ultimate have p wurchased and cant run as cant do windows updates they wont install. cant find asus recovery cd to recover any missing or corrupt files can i do recovery without the cd. is there a fix for running updates

need help quickly purchase os upgrade cant even use it

to recover an asus, you need to reboot and start tapping the F9 key that should bring you to the recovery options, save all your files first.

then you can run the upgrade

Install this Microsoft update first ( download the correct version, x86 or x64 ) and then try to install the other updates or the Ultimate upgrade.
